It is important to install the Flexible Moulding in a relaxed, non-tensile state and keep nails at a minimum distance of 3/8" from any edge. For the best results, we suggest using Loctite PL Premium Polyurethane Construction Adhesive.

The material can be cut, shaped, and sanded using standard woodworking equipment. It is essential to note that the wood grain on Stain grade material is only on the surface and may be eliminated if sanded. When painting the Flexible Moulding, primer coats are not recommended. We recommend using water-based Acrylic Latex Paint or an exterior primer such as Kilz when using Alkyd Enamels. Additional drying time may be necessary when using Alkyd Enamels, and it is crucial never to paint before installation to prevent cracking.
